Yoga Nidra (also known as "iRest") is a deep state of conscious sleep. Entering this deep sleep or relaxation enables the psyche to gently release the hidden tensions that create thought patterns, beliefs, and unresolved emotional charges that act as hidden obstacles in your waking life. This practice will include a short yoga sequence suitable for all levels followed by a guided relaxation into the yogic sleep. With practice, Yoga Nidra can help one deeply understand themselves as a physical, mental and spiritual being. Come experience the practice of Yoga Nidra with Amanda Barnes at Sacred Dunes in Michigan city. A 90-minute practice with some reflection to follow your experience. Come prepared with your mat, and blankets on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 @ 3-4:30 pm to unwind and set and/or re-set your intentions of union and healing.
