Long before Stephanie Gordon founded Sacred Dunes Integrative Health, acupuncture changed her life. After dealing with debilitating migraines, she sought treatment herself and found lasting relief through acupuncture. The experience left her wondering how something she knew so little about could make such a difference. That question led her to pursue training in acupuncture and East Asian medicine, and eventually open her own practice, giving others access to the same type of support that had helped her.
Stephanie Gordon, M.S., L.Ac., brings strong professional training to work that still feels personal. She earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, holds national board certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, is licensed in acupuncture through the State of Indiana, and is currently a doctoral candidate in acupuncture and East Asian medicine. Just as important, she approaches her work with the heart of an educator. She takes time to explain how acupuncture works, answer questions, and help each person make informed decisions about their health.
Stephanie has spent years building Sacred Dunes from the ground up while remaining closely involved with the people she serves. Beyond the treatment rooms, she has also extended the Sacred Dunes mission through community outreach, including a nonprofit branch focused on supporting first responders. Sacred Dunes also offers wellness services such as yoga, along with hemp-derived CBD products connected to the practice. Stephanie often tells patients that acupuncture is not magic, that it is scientific, but that it can still feel magical for people who have struggled to find relief. Whether someone is dealing with a long-standing health concern or simply looking for another path toward feeling better, they can expect honest guidance, personal attention, and a place where they are treated with patience and respect.
She views acupuncture as part of a broader approach to wellness, one that can complement the work of physicians and specialists while still keeping the whole person in view. With functional medicine and lab testing also part of the practice, Sacred Dunes is built to look at health from more than one angle. The practice offers acupuncture, massage therapy, herbal medicine, yoga, and other wellness services, but the common thread is how people are treated when they walk through the door.
Patients often notice an atmosphere that feels calm, welcoming, and peaceful. It is the kind of place where people can slow down, feel comfortable asking questions, and receive support without feeling rushed or dismissed. What began in modest shared spaces has grown into a practice that still carries the personal connection that shaped its earliest days.
